  1. Start Installing IFS Applications Middle Tier
  2. Start the Installer
  3. Startup Main
  4. Verify Locations
  5. Select Components to Install

  6. Manage Application Server Instance

    Use the following settings:

    1. Create new: selected
    2. Instance Name: Enter a new name
    3. Description: Describe the purpose of this installation.
  7. Select Components to Deploy

    Note: Select all components for this installation. This is mandatory when you create the first instance for this solution.

  8. Configure Database Connection
  9. Enter Passwords for the Internal System Users
  10. Database Import and Deploy

    Note: Select all options for this installation. This is mandatory when you create the first instance for this solution.

  11. Configure Connection Pool for PL/SQL Access
  12. Windows Services

    Note: Select all options for this installation. Production environments should run as services.
