Stock Move
Explanation
This activity is used to handle parts assigned to a
mobile user's stock, which is in a remote warehouse.
That is:
- To move parts
between a drop-off location and a remote warehouse.
- To move parts between remote warehouses.
Prerequisites
- The mobile users should have been registered in their respective remote warehouses.
- The inventory parts required to be moved to a remote warehouse, should
have been registered in transport tasks, directed to the remote warehouse in executed state.
- The inventory parts required to be moved to a drop-off location,
should have been registered in transport tasks, directed to the drop-off location.
System Effects
As a result of this activity;
- Inventory parts registered in transport tasks directed to the remote
warehouse moved from drop-off location to the remote warehouse.
- Inventory parts registered in transport tasks directed to the drop-off
location moved from remote warehouse to the drop-off location.
- Inventory parts will be moved from one remote warehouse to another
remote warehouse.

Procedure
Move stock from drop-off location to remote warehouse
- On the Home Screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Incoming Transport Task.
- Select the check box on the transport task/s you wish to move the whole
stock assigned to it.
- Tap Receive.
If you wish to do a partial
receive, instead the whole stock assigned to the transport tasks
- Repeat Steps 1 to 2.
- Tap on the relevant transport task you wish to execute partially.
- Select the check box on the parts you wish to move and tap Receive.
- Alternatively, if you wish to alter the quantity received, instead
selecting check box, tap on the part and enter the quantity needed to
receive and tap Receive.
If you wish to receive parts disregard transport task

- On the Home Screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Incoming Stock.
- Select the check box on the parts you wish to move and tap Receive.
- Alternatively, if you wish to alter the quantity received, instead
selecting check box, tap on the part and enter the quantity needed to
receive and tap Receive.
Move stock from remote warehouse to drop-off location
Add transport task
- On the Home screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Add Transport Task.
- Select the Part you wish to move, use LOV.
- Select the To Location to which you wish to move the part,
use LOV.
- Enter the Quantity you wish to move.
- Tap Save.
Out going stock
- On the Home Screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Outgoing Stock.
- Select the check box on the transport task/s you wish to move the whole
stock assigned to it.
- Tap Execute.
If you wish to do a partial drop-off, instead the whole
stock assigned to the transport task
- Repeat Steps 1 to 2.
- Tap on the relevant transport task you wish to execute partially.
- Select the check box on the parts you wish to move and tap Execute.
- Alternatively, if you wish to alter the quantity, instead
selecting check box, tap on the part and enter the quantity needed to
return and tap Execute.
View planned stock to be moved to remote warehouse
- On the Home Screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Planned Incoming Tasks to see all the transport tasks
directed to the remote warehouse.
- If you wish to see the list of parts assigned to a transport task, then
tap on a transport task.
Move stock between remote warehouses
In the mobile device of the remote warehouse with the parts
to be moved to another remote warehouse
- On the Home screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Unplanned Outgoing Stock.
- Select the Part you wish to move, use LOV.
- Select the To Location to which you wish to move the part,
use LOV.
- Enter the Quantity you wish to move.
- Optionally, enter Serial/Lot No.
- Tap Save.
- QR code generates with a External Offline Move ID.
Note : There will be a corresponding record created in
back-office with regard to External Offline Move ID in state Unacknowledged.
In the mobile device of the remote warehouse in which the
parts to be received
- On the Home screen, tap Stock Move.
- Tap Unplanned Incoming Stock.
- Tap QR Scanner, and scan the QR code generated in the other
mobile device.
- Tap save.
- Optionally, details in the QR code generated in the other device, can be
entered manually and save.
Note : The corresponding record in back-office will be set
to Completed.
