Register Payroll Details for Export
Explanation
This activity is used to register parameters for the export of a payroll setup.
Selecting and registering the parameters is equal to deciding which elements of
the payroll setup will be exported to a file.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- The basic details of the export (export ID
and file name) are required to be defined in the Export Payroll Setup
window.
- Wage code parameters are required to be defined in the Definition
of Wage Code Parameters window.
- Wage code classes are required to be defined in the Wage Code
Class window.
- Wage Code types are required to be defined in the Wage Code Type
window.
- Posting types are required to be defined in the Create Payroll
Postings window.
- Regulations are required to be defined in the Regulations Details
window.
- Senior regulations are required to be defined in the Senior
Regulation Details window.
- Other regulations are required to be defined in the Other
Regulation Details window.
- Report templates are required to be defined in the Report
Templates window.
- Payroll templates are required to be defined in the Payroll
Template window.
- Break types are required to be defined in the Break and Benefits
window.
- Payroll tags are required to be defined in the Tags
window.
- Payroll wage codes are required to be defined in the Wage Codes
window.
- Wage code calculation groups are required to be defined in the
Wage Code Calculation Group window.
- Calendar types for absence base are required to be defined in the
Absence Base Calendar Type window.
- Calculation base types are required to be defined in the Absence
Calculation base Type window.
- Payroll configurations are required to be defined in the
Configuration window.
- Contribution parameters are required to be defined in the Loan and
Contribution Parameters/Contribution Parameters tab.
- Loan parameters are required to be defined in the Contribution
Parameters/Loan Parameters tab.
- Liability parameters are required to be defined in the Contribution
Parameters/Liability Parameters tab.
- Payment parameters are required to be defined in the Contribution
Parameters/Payment Parameters tab.
- Institutions are required to be defined in the Institution
window.

Procedure
- Open the Export Payroll Setup window.
- Search or populate to find the required payroll setup ID defined for
export.
- Go to the Wage Code
Parameters tab and create a new record
- In the Parameter ID field, enter the parameter which should be included
in the export. Use the list of values to select the required parameter.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Wage Code Class
tab and create a new record.
- In the Wage Code Class ID field, enter the wage code class which should
be included in the export. Use the list of values to select a value.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Wage Code Type
tab and create a new record.
- In the Wage Code Type ID field, enter the wage code which should be included in the
export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Payroll Postings
tab and create a new record.
- In the Posting Type field, enter the type of posting that should be included in the
export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Regulations tab and create a new record.
- In the Regulation ID field, enter the regulation which should be
included in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Senior Regulations tab and create a new record.
- In the Regulation ID field, enter the regulation which should be
included as a senior regulation in the export. You can use the list of
values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Report Templates tab and create a new record.
- In the Group ID field, enter the report template which should be
included in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Payroll Templates tab and create a new record.
- In the Def Temp ID field, enter the payroll template which should be
included in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Payroll Periods tab and create a new record.
- In the Year field, enter an year which should be considered as a payroll
period. Use the list of values.
- In the PI Period Type field, specify the period type. Use the list of
values.
- Go to the Break and Benefits tab and create a new record.
- In the Break ID field, enter the type of break that should be included
in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Tag Codes tab and create a new record.
- In the Tag ID field, enter the tag which should be included in the
export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Wage Codes tab and create a new record.
- In the Wage Code ID field, enter a wage code which should be included in
the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go the Calculation Groups tab and create a new record.
- In the Calc Group ID field, enter a calculation group which should be
included in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Other Regulations tab and create a new record.
- In the Regulation ID field, enter the regulation which should be
included as other regulations in the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Contribution Types
tab and create a new record.
- In the Contribution Type ID field, enter the type of contribution that should be included in
the export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Loan Types
tab and create a new record.
- In the Loan Type ID field, enter the type of loan that should be included in the export.
You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Liability Types
tab and create a new record.
- In the Liability Type ID field, enter the type of liability that should be included in the
export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Payment Parameters
tab and create a new record.
- In the Payment Parameters field, enter the payment parameter that should be included in the
export. You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Institutions
tab and create a new record.
- In the Institution ID field, enter the institution that should be included in the export.
You can use the list of values.
- Save the information.
- Go to the Tax Year
tab and create a new record.
- In the Year field, enter the tax year which should be included in the export.
You can use the list of values.
