Connect Tags to Config ID

Explanation

This activity is used to connect report template tags to functional areas of the application. As a result, whenever a report is assigned a tag, it will become usable in a relevant functional area.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, report template tags have to be registered in the Tags window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, tags defined for a company will be linked to functional areas of the application.

Procedure

1. Open the Configuration window.
2. In the header, select the TAGS Config ID.
   You will be presented with a list of records in the table. Each record is responsible for a functional area of the IFS Applications. Contents of the Name field will describe the area that the record is responsible for.
    
3. In the ID field, enter the ID of the tag defined for the company in the Tags window. That tag will be connected to the functional area.
4. In the Description field, you can enter the description for the tag.
5. Save the information.
