Connect Permit Type to Standard Job
Explanation
Use this activity to connect one or more permit types to a
separate or route standard job. Permit types ensure that the maintenance work in the
facility can be performed under safe conditions.
An isolation can also be connected to the permit type.
Isolations describe how a certain part of the facility should be shut down
temporarily, so that the specified work can be carried out under safe
conditions.
Prerequisites
  - Permit types, isolation types and a connection between them must be defined in the
Work Order and PM Basic Data
    window in IFS/Basic Data
    for Maintenance.

  - Isolations should be registered in IFS/Equipment.

  - The standard job should not be active.

System Effects
As a result of this activity, permit types and
isolations (where applicable) are connected to the standard job.
