Procedure

System parameter for entering value for ID field.

Adding a IFSID field on GIS Objects in ArcGIS and where it corresponds with the system parameter in IFS, is mandatory for GIS integration:

  1. Open the Solution Manager/System Parameters window.
  2. Navigate to the parameter: Name of field that uniquely identifies an object in GIS Map
  3. Enter a new name of the field or accept the default IFSID.
  4. Save.

System parameter for entering an URL for a geometry service to be used in GIS Map (optional).

Entering this parameter is only required in a few situations, as described in GIS Concepts.

  1. Enable a geometry service in ArcGIS.
  2. Open the Solution Manager/System Parameters window.
  3. Navigate to the parameter: URL to the Geometry Service used by the Measurement tool in GIS Map (optional)
  4. Enter an URL for geometry service.
  5. Save.

System parameter for controlling if all requests should go through the proxy (optional).

This system parameter is to be used when token based authentication is used. When the parameter is set to TRUE it forces all requests from GIS Map to go through the proxy, making sure all requests get the token added to them.

  1. Open the Solution Manager/System Parameters window.
  2. Navigate to the parameter: If this is TRUE, all requests from GIS Map will go through the GISINT proxy in the application server. Use it when using token-based security
  3. Change the parameter value to TRUE to make all requests go through the proxy. Set it to FALSE if it is not needed.
  4. Save.
