Register Liability

Explanation

This activity is used to register a liability to an employee. The liability is a one-time payment made by the employee to the company or some other institution for some services, legal issues, fines, etc. The registration means that the liability becomes assigned to the employee and the payment method and due date are determined.

Procedure

  1. Open the Loans and Contributions window and find an employee to whom you want to register a liability.
  2. Go to the Liability tab and create a new record in order to start the liability registration.
  3. In the Liability Type Id field, specify an id of liability. Alternatively, you can use the list of values.
  4. Specify an effective date for the liability in the Liability Date field. Enter a liability amount in the Amount field.
  5. In the Institution ID field, specify an id of the institution that receives the liability.
  6. Save the information.
