Register Division Parameters

Explanation

This activity is used to register division parameters on a variable data document. Dividing parameters is mainly used for accounting purposes. It shows how the parameter is distributed among accounting entities. 

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a variable data parameter document is required to be registered in the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Variable Data window and find a variable parameter document in which you want to register division parameters for employees.
2. Select employees and parameters for which the division of parameters is required.
3. In order to enter additional details for the parameter division, right-click and click Division Parameters.
4. Enter a value for the distribution in the Value field. Note that the sum of values entered must be equal to the amount specified in the header.
5. In the Account field, specify an accounting entity to which the value belongs. You can use the list of values.
6. Enter a cost centre information in the Cost Cent field. The list of values can also be used.
7. Enter any other relevant information regarding the parameter value in the fields Code C, Code D, Code E and Code F. Alternatively, you can use the value list.
8. In the Description field, specify additional description for the distributed element of parameter.
9. Save the information.
