Manage Access to Selected Type of Information
Explanation
This activity is used to define access levels to payroll data for defined groups of
users.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, a payroll data access user group is required to be registered
in the system.

- Employees can view data that manage security.

Procedure
- Open the
Data Access
window.
- Populate
or search in order to find a user group for which you want to manage data access
rights.
- Select the area of data to which you want to grant access by selecting the proper tab.
- create a new record
- Specify an ID for the
parameter, regulation, or document to which you want to give access.
You can also use the list of values.
- If you want to download a set of parameters or regulations or documents
into the security window, right-click and click Get Defaults
or Copy from Group. You can also use the
list of values.
- Select the
Is Enabled check box or right-click and click
Grant All or Grant Selected
in order to grant access to the elements.
- Clear the Is
Enabled
check box or right-click and click
Revoke All
or
Revoke Selected
in order to deny access to the elements. - not necessary
- Select the Can Modify check box to allow users to modify an
element. If you want to give access to a number of modifiable elements,
right-click and click Grant Can Modify to All or
Grant Can Modify to Selected.
- Clear the Can Modify check box in order to remove the possibility
of modifying an element. If you want to remove access to a number of
modifiable elements simultaneously, right-click and click Revoke Can Modify to All
or Revoke Can Modify to Selected.
- Select the Can Remove check box in order to allow users to remove
an element which can be modified. If you want to give access to a number of
modifiable parameters, right-click and click Grant Can Remove to All
or Grant Can Remove to Selected.
- Clear the Can Remove check box in order to remove the possibility
of removing an element. If you want to remove access to a number of
modifiable elements, right-click and click
Revoke Can Remove to All or Revoke Can Remove to Selected.
- Save the information.
