Define Issue and Action Outcomes
Explanation
This activity is used to define possible outcomes for disciplinary and 
grievance issues and actions. Note, that outcomes are defined for entire issues 
and for specific actions taken to solve the issue. While listed together, issue 
and action outcomes cannot be used interchangeably and are differentiated by the 
Action Outcome check box.

There are no prerequisites.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, issue and action outcomes will be registered in the 
system.

Procedure
	- Open the Disciplinary and Grievance Management Basic Data 
	window.
 
	- On the Outcome tab, add a new record.
 
	- In the Issue Type field, select if the outcome should be 
	available for Disciplinary or Grievance issues or actions.
 
	- In the Outcome field, enter the name for the outcome.
 
	- In the Outcome Description field, you can enter a short 
	description of the outcome.
 
	- Use the Action Outcome check box, to determine if the outcome 
	will be available for the entire issue or for separate actions.
		- If selected, the outcome will be available as a result of an 
		action taken to solve the issue.
 
		- If cleared, the outcome will be the final outcome of the 
		entire issue.
 
	
	 
	- To define more outcomes, go to step 2.
 
	- After defining all relevant outcomes, save your changes.
